Home visit

Yay, my midwife just came by for our home visit.. she dropped off the birthing kit.
So exciting!!

And she checked me and said baby is lower than just engaged, she's at +1 and I'm about 1 cm dilated.. not yet softened that much, she didn't give me a %.

Pointless topic, just excited!

its so exciting mine came the other day but shes still not engaged, she said because its my 3rd she will more than likely go down when im in labour now.

Im going tomorrow to buy all the last bits I need for my homebirth. Are you still packing a bag for the hospital just incase.

No I'm not packing a bag.
I got all the stuff right here in case I need to go to the hospital.. just didn't pack it in a bag.

I think I'm going to have a birth ' box' so OH can find everything we'll need during and if I need to transfer we can just take it with us! Midwife is round next week for me

I'm having my homevisit this week! So exciting - it really puts it in perspective that soon I'll be having my baby, and at home too!
