Re-posting from Natural Parenting forum:
Does anyone make their own baby food at home, and if so, would you be willing to post a couple recipes for dinner type foods that would be palatable to an adult (or links to a website with recipes where I can get some ideas)?
I am having major jaw problems (TMJ) and cannot chew at ALL right now, so I'm on a totally liquid diet...not so easy given that I am 23 weeks pregnant and STARVED out of my mind!!
I've done fruit smoothies in the blender, yogurt, soup broth, milk...that's about all I can come up with. Even mashed potatoes are too thick, I need food that is really thin (ie. if you could drink it through a straw, that's about right). I'm hoping some of you might have some baby food ideas that could work for me if I thin them enough. I'm totally clueless here...ideas for meats, grains and veggies in particular would be most welcome (fruit and dairy are easy enough).
