Homemade Babylegs - Updated with Pic!!

Is there any way of making babylegs that doesn't involve knitting?? I love the idea of them but can't justify spending £7 on them!

socks!!! cut the feet/toes off and hem them !!! Kirsten made some and they are uber cute!!!....have you looke on E bay..you can get them fairly cheap on there too

I think you could easily make them from something else, the ones I have are quite fine knit..so what a bout a pair of toddler/small childrens tights, cut the feet off, and then to make the cuff bits they have at the top and bottom you could put some loose elastic and fold the material over that?

yeah i'd think adult ones....tho dont quote me on that....i;m sure TL or Kirsten will be able to advise properly as i know they have both made some!!!

I actually made a pair tonight using 12-18 month old tights so I'll try them on her tomorrow and take a pic to post!

they're really good! i've been wondering abt making some too...but then i found some on ebay 4 99p so i went for the lazy option!! lol

theres quite a few of babylegs, skidpants, huggalugs and random no name baby leg warmers on ebay- all various prices if ur still looking to buy some (altho ur homemade ones r so cool i'm guessing u don't need to buy any anymore)
