Honeymoons

Just wondering where everyone is going or thinking of going for their honeymoon?

We were thinking of going to Gran Canaria for ours as thats the first place we went on holiday together and we loved it and havent had a chance to get back yet. Is that tacky that we r thinking of going to spain for our honeymoon? x x

Not at all hun. A honeymoon is fab no matter where it is We aren't 100% sure yet - all depends on money. If we have some its Florida and cruise and if we don't its Spain

We're going to London for 2 nights the week after our wedding. It'll be our first holiday together so it'll be particularly special.

I actually think it's lovely that you're considering returning to somewhere that has meaning for you! It's not tacky, it's romantic! It's good to have a special place to return to when you can.

We're going to Cuba as we've got a bit of money left over from not going away last year because of Josh - will be our first proper holiday abroad together =]

It doesn't matter where you go hun as long as it is together. And going back to somewhere specila to the two of you is lovely!!
We are going to the maldives, this will probably be our last big holiday as we are going to be ttc after the wedding!

My OH and I are thinking about going to Disney World in Florida for a week for our honeymoon. I've never been there, and I really want to go. My OH's family has already agreed to take care of the kids for the week we want to go.

We are hainvg a 3 week trip to Disneyworld (getting maried there 5 days in so then have 16 day honeymoon after)

We considered cruise/different location, but we love Disney SO much and this is the perfect excuse to splash out on all the Deluxe hotels - we're staying at 4 different ones!

Not at all! We had a 'few'.

4 days at Disneyland Paris - straight after wedding.
1 week in Gran Canaria - 2 months after wedding.

1 year later, we went to WDW in Florida for 2 weeks. This was meant to be our honeymoon but we had to postpone due to work commitments, hence the long weekend and week in the sun instead.

So our honeymoon became a honeyversary Go wherever you want to go!

Were moving abroad 2 weeks after wedding so no honeymoon for us,but we are planning on going skiing in the new year!x
