Hi girls, I unfortunatley had a miscarriage yesturday too, i would have been 6 weeks and 2 days today, i found out at 4 weeks dead on that i was pg and i guess i am guilty of doing a lot of dreamimg and planning in that short time as it felt like i had been pregnant for ages!
It all started to go wrong on friday night when i was at work, I went to the loo and noticed i had pink discharge, by the morning it had turned into slow bleeding and hows this for sods law i had my driving test at 1015! decided to take it anyhow (I failed) went straight to A&E afterwards and after a 6 hour wait to see the gyno i was told i was having a threatend Miscarriage, there was no scan facilities open as it was a weekend and i thought she was being a little optimistic, went home and by the evening i was loosing clots too, guess i knew it was going to all end badly, went to bed at 8 thinking if i didnt move a muscle my body might hold on to it, woke up sunday morning in agony and decided to ring round all the hospitals within a 30 mile radius to see if i could get an emergency scan, the not knowing was killing me, found one in Derby that would do it in an hour after i phoned so i rushed to get there and as soon as i got out of the car I felt a big gush of liquid and i knew i had lost it there and then, went straight to the loo and decided not to look at what i had lost but by the time i had my scan about 20 mins later there was nothing left at all, on the positive side i dont need any treatment and it was all very clear cut, they said i can try again straight away as there is no damage to my reproductive system, guess it was a shock when i have had 2 pregnancies already that have been straight forward with no complications, was exciting thinking i was going to have a baby before christmas and i'm just starting to get my head around the fact that if i'm lucky i will still have one but i may just have to wait a little longer than I had expected, I have 2 gorgeous children already so it sure has made me appreciate them more and made me count my blessings, maybe trying for the third was a little greedy x x x
