Ahhhh i have just had my first hormonal rant... at my daughters teacher.. im soooooo angry...

so i pick her up from school and it appears her teacher has mislaid ehr new school jumper... she not even had it a week... then the teacher calls me over to say beth has sat in someone elses wee... thats soooo friggin disgusting.. why the hell did they not change my daughter into clean spare clothes... how unhygenic is that..Had she had been the one to wee herself then she would have been changed so why not when she sits in someone elses......

the bottom of her top was yellow and was still damp.... have just put a complaint into the sschool aswel.....

oh my god im mad....

awww I completely understand your fury. I wouldnt even call that hormonal, thats just disgusting what the school put your LO through!!!!

What a numpty...Id have been angry too!! Also the wee must have been there awhile if another child had a chance to sit in it  makes you wonder how well the teacher is monitoring the kids!!??

oh thats so bad! id of had gone mad! dont schools have little spare boxes of clothes for things like that? no idea why didnt they change her! is not very nice her being in some1 else wee'd clothes bless her, not a hormone rant id of gone spare even if i wasnt pregnant, think they need to scrub up there act,! id have a word with the head without doubt! x

Ahh thanks i glad its not just me who would have gone mad...lol.... yer well beth was saying that there nto allowed to go to toilet in class and if they do they get put on a sad cloud... no wander there was wee for her to sit in....x

That's so bad!! And not allowed to the toilet? That's unrealistic for a start!!!

i no there only 6!!!! she said she is trying to train them to go during break times.... um hello there not frickin dogs love!!!

im gob smacked, they aint allowed unless they are punished? they are children for god sake .. that so not right! XX

How ridiculous! For a start both my girls schools used to have boxes of spare clothes for accidents...but not letting them go until break times...they are small children not dogs!

and whats the results...they wee in the classroom, looks like that teachers methods really work! Ugh I would have ranted too! x

id have gone off on one big style too pregnant or not , thats really nasty for your little girl to have to sit in that all day . and being punished for needing the toilet - that is well wrong , i think you should all get together and make them change that policy .

Well the policy has only just changed this year as far as i no...and it was only brought to my attention yesterday after her friend had weed himself... the teacher did not know this|!!!! shocking.. i have said today that if she wants to go to the toilet then she must be allowed and under no circumstances should her name be moved to a sad cloud for needing the loo....kids will do anything to stay on a happy cloud and not miss out on play time...grrrrrr im livid....lol

i no there only 6!!!! she said she is trying to train them to go during break times.... um hello there not frickin dogs love!!!

I cant believe the cheek on the school!!!! Poor little ones, I would make a complaint to the school about that!!!! OMG im not happy now either :O

My god that is just so awful! You have every right to be angry!!!

A couple of years ago my sister forgot to send the money to pay for my nephew's hot school meals and she hadn't sent him with a packed lunch because she thought she had paid. The teacher made him sit there and watch all of his friends eat their lunches while he had nothing. They didn't even attempt to call my sister to ask her to bring him something. She went absolutely beserk at them!!

These people are in a position of authority and responsiblility and sometimes they think themselves so important that they get too far above their stations.

Thats just horrible, your poor daughter, making her stay in clothes with wee on it is disgusting enough, but someone elses wee - thats just plain neglect!

I'm sure that I read somewhere that forcing a child to 'hold on' for any amount of time on a frequent basis is very bad for them? Maybe google it and see if there is any way that you can get the school to change their policy. I understand not letting secondary school kids out of class to go to the loo - at that age they should be able to think to go before class but shes only 6 and in my opinion is far to young to be told she can't go during class. Punishing a child for needing the toilet is just cruel and ends up with 'accidents' (as you found out!).

If my sons school did that to him I'd be going mad as well :growlmad:

Thanks girls. i have calmed down now but going to address this tomorrow....
and oh my god denying a child dinenr... that is so cruel....how would they like it....actually shocked at that!! poor kid,...xxx

Thats crazy them not being allowed out to wee during the class! And what kinda teacher leaves a little girl in wee sodden clothes never mind the wee being someone elses! Like someone already said they are school kids not a litter of puppies!! :gun: I would have pulled the teacher over hot coals for that one and put in an official complaint to the school!! These are the trusted conditions that children get left in day after day?! I think you were a lot more polite than I would have been..
@big betty The teacher left the poor kid without lunch?? Sometimes these ppls heads are so far up their own butts Im sure they can see daylight coming through the other end!

I can't believe that! A 'sad cloud' for needing to use the toilet? That's absolutely disgraceful. Is that the school's policy or just that individual teacher's? And if it's the school's, did they bother to inform you? I wonder if the other parents know about it.

No wonder you were angry. I work in reception class and any child is changed if they are dirty/wet (sometimes from water table etc) however we have had an instance where the children sit on the carpet at home time waiting for their names to be called, where one child did have an accident and didnt tell anyone went on watching tv, another child then sat in it - just as her mum arrived.

Its unreasonable to expect them to hold their wee until break/lunch - you soon get to know the children who when they say they need to go now - they need to go now or else face a puddle. I would speak to the headteacher if I were you. Good Luck

in our schools our kids have water bottles and are allowed to sip from them during the day. Apprently hydrated kids are alert kids!! So if your daughters school do the same they MUST ALLOW them to toilet! Its totally unreal for little kids to not want the loo after drinking, also id kick off how upsetting for both ur daughter and little boy who it happened to!! He must have felt so be-littled coz he had an accident, the poor sod was in a no-win situation!

go the loo and be put on grey cloud....or stay on happy cloud and piss yaself!! ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE!!!! deffo complain without a doubt.
