Hey guys.

Just wondered if anyone could help me with a quick question I have.

After alot of research I'm pretty sure I have an estrogen dominance imbalance. I want to have a test to find out for definite. The only place I have been able to find is private and is much too expensive. I can't afford it :(

I was wondering if anyone knows whether I can get one done on the NHS if I see a doctor? I can't find any information online and I don't want to make an appointment if they definitely can't.

My life has been hell the last year because something is wrong and no one knows what. I have all the symptoms and I'm hoping this might be the answer and hopefully a treatment!

If you've been ttc for over 2 years one of the first things they do is a blood test to check all your hormone levels. So yes your gp can test you on the NHS. You'll be referred to a fertility specialist after the initial tests through the gp. I think I had bloods and swabs done and dh had a sperm analysis. We were then referred onto hospital

I went to the Dr a while ago with problems with hormone In balance. I also wanted to be tested for thyroid and other things.they happily sent me for the blood tests I requested. They all came back fine but I want to get tested more on my hormones.with this test you will need to have a blood test at different times in your cycle and I haven't got round to doing it yet.but I'm sure if you do explain your symptoms and ask for the test done they won't refuse.especially if the symptoms are causing you problems. I think you should go x
