How are you supposed to feel after the Glucose Test?

I had my Glucose test today.

I actually liked the taste of the drink and didn't mind drinking it. It tasted like flat orange soda melted slushie syrup. Since I'm a fan of freezies and slushies I think I was used to the taste!

I have felt fine since taking it. I was a bit tired earlier this afternoon but feel all right!

Is that any indication I did okay??

Sounds like you did fine since you aren't feeling terrible. I was a bit nauseous after till I ate. Baby danced all day from the sugar shock!

Hi there bump buddy!

Well, during my 2nd hour I felt nauseated and dizzy, but after I left I felt okay, just a bit jittery from the fasting and then drinking the sugar stuff. But, after I ate breakfast I felt fine the rest of the day. When I sat for lunch at a delicious Syrian restaurant the trauma completely left me. Unlike you, I absolutely hated that drink. lol! Funny how different people's tastes are. Glad it didn't bother you.

fwiw, I passed the test with flying colors, not at all borderline. I did the test on Wednesday and called for my result on Friday so it was pretty quick to get. GL!

I loved the drink (I had Lucozade) and felt absolutely fine, no nausea or headache or anything during the test. I did feel rather tired when I got home, and had a nap after lunch (not unusual these days). But I failed. So maybe it doesn't make any difference how you feel! (I took the test yesterday am and got the result this lunchtime so at least they're quick at letting you know if there's a problem)

Everyone reacts differently to the test. With my oldest I felt really sick after the test, but I still passed it. With youngest I was just really tired after the test. With this one I felt completely fine after taking it. It is again one of those pregnancy things that everyone is different and will feel different. I was told that how you react to the test is no indication as to how you did. It just really all goes back to what the labs say.

Btw with my youngest I passed and with this pregnancy I have not gotten a call since the test (about a week ago) so I am again assuming I passed.

i was tired and hungry but ok, went to work straight after... we got lucozade to drink :)

Ugh I felt horrible all stinking day ling and tired. I seriouslly felt like I had the flu or something. They never called me so I figure I passed. All though my doctor really doesn't give a crap about me or my baby soill probably have to ask if I do have it

i felt fine. just hungry cause of course i hadnt had anything to eat
i passed with 103

I passed with 103 also and felt fine. Although I'm sure it *can* make people feel icky, I think a lot of people tend to exaggerate about this test. Before I took it, I read several posts on here along the lines of "oh my god, it was the most horrid tasting liquid, I could barely get it down, blah blah blah" - and it just wasn't that bad to me.

I liked the drink as well and I felt completely normal after the test. I passed no problem =)

We are talking about orange Glucola, right? Swear to you, it nearly made me sick drinking the last bit. I think we all just have different tastes, you don't know how it'll fly until you drink it. fwiw, I don't really like high sugar soda, either, so maybe that's part of it.

I just took the three hour test Monday and I felt nauseous the first hour, but after that I was fine. I was starving by the end though! I still haven't gottent my results back yet.... I'm calling tomorrow to check on them! :)
