HOW can he wish for a BFP for his birthday!!!!!!!

I am so SAD about it all.
On valentines day i asked OH what he would like for his birthday on the 28th of FEB... and he said *all i want is a BABY* and as always i just broke down in tears.....

Isn't he just setting himself up for a dissapointment... As im so used to getting AF on day 30 and i like never tempt to test... but AF is due on his birthday.......



Sould i maby test that day and just put him out of his missery?????

I suppose i could i would be 16DPO so if i am it should be positive by then... maby i should test on the friday but i also don't want to see a ... It has placed alot of straign on me now... as i would give anything to give him a birthday

Its not fair to put so much strain on you babe, ofcourse your dh would love a BFP for his birthday but if it doesnt happen then you dont want it to leave you both feeling so sad, xx

I know, i have even imagined surprising him infront of everyone at his birthday bash on that day with a box with the HPT in it and it has 2 dark as ever lines on it.... *day dreaming sucks* but so does wishfull thinking..... I will make it i know i will... im just at this point praying for a good feedback on all my tests this month on clomid though...

Progesterone test monday 23rd CD25 so by tuesday or wednesday next week.

I think he's just being honest. I wanted a BFP for my birthday. J wanted one for his. If it doesn't happen he is not going to blame you, it's just what he would most like.

Test the day before, and if its not a try and make his birthday special and just wait a few more days.
I had dreamed of getting a for the past 2 christmas's and birthdays, oh and valentines!! I was convinced that when we started trying in summer 2007 I would have the by christmas and we would be breaking our happy news to our families around the christmas tree!! lol. Sadly was not to be.
Try not to put pressure on yourself.

I think that a lot of us, at some point or another, expect our husbands to be robots but the fact is, they have wishes and dreams, too. We come on here and say "I wish I would get a BFP for my birthday" and we think nothing of it. If it doesn't happen we get upset, and we move on. For men its different. Most of them don't do the 'forum' thing and only really speak to us about it. They might wish for something too, and they say it out loud, but we shouldn't think of it as putting pressure on us, or the like. We can't stop them from feeling what they feel and I am sure they are big enough and man enough not to set themselves up for a fall.

They want this just as much as we do. If they can't express that to us then who can they express it to?
