I've stopped worrying about my bump size lol xx BUT.... when I got measured the other day i was exactly smack on size! 25 weeks measuring 25cm..... I didn't honestly expect it as some ladies on here look huge!

So how do I look so small in comparision, yet my bump measures perfect :/
I'm wondering if the size of my boobs make it look smaller as they stand out so much ha ha ha xx

I wondered that exact thing!! I still don't have a bump, yet I keep measuring perfectly. Weird, but it's good that can be the case!

He he he prob a good thing..... less problems with back pain and stuff but babys obviously the right size for us to be measuring fine.

Hey ladies! My first time around I was small.. I mean VERY SMALL!! I went to a birthing class with ladies who were about 6 months along and I was due in one week and I was the smallest there! However, I measured perfectly at every visit. I didn't gain a lot of weight (16 lbs) and stayed about a size C cup, so I don't think it was necessarily my boobs!!

My doctor told me from the start that my uterus was located "near the back" and that I wouldn't show like other women. She said it was just how I am put together. This time around seems to be following the same path. I think I showed sooner, but I'm still much smaller than most ladies carrying a 23 week bump!

Hope that helps! Enjoy your small bumps.. less pain, fewer stretch marks and less to have to pull in after the baby has been born! =)

Like Lyns06 said I think a lot of it has to do with how your uterus is positioned. I had a retroverted uterus early in my pregnancy and I'm pretty sure that's why I look small. Also, it's not the actual size of the bump that they measure but rather your uterus height from your pelvic bone. Some women's uterus could grow straight out and give the appearance of a larger bump where there's seems to grow upwards.

Ah.... but if baby was small or something you measure smaller don't you? x

The measurement only takes into account only how high your uterus is inside your abdomen, not how far out it's protruding (which is really what makes you look big or small). Like Lyns mentioned, if your uterus is positioned toward the back or even if you just have strong ab muscles then you probably won't look as big, but as long as the fundal height is measuring close to where it should there's nothing to worry about :)

Yeah.... Like I said it was bang on 25 weeks at 25 weeks! I really didnt think it would be because of how small I look compaired to a lot of ladys! By now I was expecting a huge bump ha ha ha.
