This is my first month off birth control and I sort of charted menstruation and vaguely CM and things of that nature and BD around the time of supposed ovulation and a couple times before and after, just in case.
I was supposed to get AF yesterday and generally seem to get it in the morning. I got impatient and went out and got two Walgreens brand digital tests. One didn't work and the second clearly stated Not Pregnant. I know, I'm crazy to take it further than that but it's the next day and still nothing. I'm cramping a little, have a light twinging and some pangs in my stomach and feel nauseous. My breasts are all over sore now instead of just pangs and my CM is sticky/creamy the last couple of days. I know generally this is supposed to be almost non-existent close to your period. Also, my urine is cloudy and has been for a week or so and I read that could be a potential symptom. (I've never noticed this before and I do not have any signs of an infection.)
Anyway, my periods are generally regular. A couple other things, I am technically obese but not extremely and have a couple PCOS signs but none of the hair thinning, awareness of cysts or menstrual issues.
Essentially, I feel pregnant and I took the test the day I expected my period. How common are false negatives and do my symptoms just sound like PMS or is there some validity to my feeling? The couple of people I told said I took tests too early but the box says 5 days before is acceptable. What do you guys think? Also, share your similar stories!
