How common is it to have your due date brought forward?

Does this happen often? And does it mean the 12 and 20 week scans were wrong or just that the baby is big so will be making an exit earlier? Aaand if the date is moved two weeks forward are you considered overdue two weeks after the new date or two weeks after the original date?

I've never heard of them changing your due date after your dating scan.

They say the earlier the scan, the more accurate. A scan at 8 weeks is much more accurate than a 20 week or later scan.

they dont tend to change it after 12 week scan. I was measuring 4 weeks ahead at 30 weeks with my dd!but new my dates where right. She was just big

I have never heard anyone having date changed.

I had scan at 8 wks and the dating scan at 12wks - they went with the 8wks scan date.

my due date was changed with my first she was due on the 19th july but they changed it after to august 4th and i had her her on the 3rd but that was over 8 yrs ago i dont think they can mess it up now x
