How did your baby take to 7mth lumpy food?

Hi, title says it all, im trying to wean lo onto 7mth food, today you should of seen the look she gave me, as if to say whats this? she took a few spoons, bourked and opened her mouth moving the little pasta balls round her mouth with a disgusting look, did you have any problems and how did you get your lo use to it?

I thought the 7 month food was rubbish tbh! It wasn't lumpy but "textured" But At forst Evan used to move food around his mouth then spit out any lumpy bits (pasta/parsnip etc) I introduce finger foods fairly early so to be honest once he got used to lumpier stuff he eats anything now x
