Im having some trouble keeping my little boys feeding consistent. I told my ex that I was moving our son onto iron rich milk and found out he had already been giving him this for some time. Also, he mentioned in passing that he loves weetabix and gave him a full one for breakfast, evben though I had instructed his next spoonfeed was not due until lunch as he had got a bowl of porridge with me. I can't believe he has him on weetabix, apparantly he loves them and gets a full one at a time.
I am really careful about my babys diet and go to great lengths to prepare his meals from scratch and not give added salt/sugar etc. I hate the thought the ex is giving him jar food on a regular basis and maybe even tubs of custard etc. I have asked him to speak to me before introducing new foods and he said he would but then he went and did the weetabix thing. M y little boy is 7 months old and is starting to try a varied diet so I have no idea how to monitor what he is getting to eat. I don't want to take my ex's responsibility as a parent away by sending his food up with him but how on earth can I maintain consistency in his diet? Already I have noticed on days he goes to see daddy he doesnt get his 3 spoonfeeds a day. Also, sometimes he gives like two spoonfeeds one ofter the other etc. I have explained how I feed him and he keeps saying ok to my face and I later realise something different has happened. This is starting to seriously annoy me and I dont know what to do about it.
