So I want to get my tubes tied after the baby is born I was informed though that I have to wait a little bit if I go through a natural birth before they do it. This is my third pregnancy which was unplanned and it happened with using protection. I was on bc and was put on a new mental health med that messed up my bc I knew it would and because my insurance doesn't cover the non hormonal IUD and planned parenthood wanted 250 dollars for me to get it through them I couldn't so I set up an appointment with my OBGYN to get my tubes tied and two weeks before the appointment found out I was pregnant on top of bc we were using condoms I guess I must have extremely bad luck. Anyway is it possible that my doctor would do an elective c section so I can get my tubes tied right away instead of having to wait? I have always had my babies before my due date my oldest was due October 22nd he was born October 12th. My youngest was due September 1st but they had to induce me on August 11th because my amniotic fluid dropped to a dangerously low level at that time they thought he had only one kidney and it wasn't functioning properly so they induced and he was born August 12th my plan for this baby was a Natural Birth since it is my last time but I think more about it and the risks of getting pregnant again if I would have to wait. Would a doctor consider a c section being done on May 12th with my due date May 29th or would they not consider it at all? How can I figure out if this would be what I would want for 100% and that I am making the right choice?

If you can avoid it, I would not have a c-section. You'll need all the strength you can to take care of your other two children as well as your new baby. I have had two, and wish I could have delivered naturally. You can get your tubes tied soon enough. Just wait to bd until you get them tied. The pain/recovery associated with a section are not worth the benefit of the tubes being tied quicker. Good luck with your pregnancy. :)
