How do I get a lawyer?

Im in Scotland.

im on my phone so not going to write details, basically he harasses me constantly, tries to come to my house when i have said no, accuses me of not letting him see our daughter when i dont let him come down or dont answer the phone (he has her 3 nights a week!!) and says that he doesnt want to live on thr days he doesnt see her. I get at least 15 calls and texts every single day, even the days where he has her...

I cant deal with it anymore, my time with my daughter is spoilt by him. I want to speak to a lawyer about geting something sorted so that he cant act this way.

he says he is still in love with me and he wont stop fighting for me... I understand that he misses me but i have tried since day 1 to explain that he cant act like this, and he is just getting worse.

Hiw do i go about getting a lawyer?

Can't this be a matter for the police?
Seriously, does he have legal right to have such a young child so many days a week? Thought it wasnt good for young children to be living part time like that.

I contacted a lawyer but never had to use her. I found her online I just typed into a search engine lawyers in my home town and a 25 lawyers popped up and I picked one I thought that was best suited. Good luck.if it keeps up call the cops that's horrible that he's being like that.

The police can't do anything without an order from the courts. Go to Citizens Advice Bureau in your area, they will put you in touch with a lawyer and if you're on benefits you can get legal aid(free).

The lawyer should apply for a Non Molestation order, so your ex can't turn up at your house , can't call/text 15 times a day or basically hassle you and cannot tell anyone else to do so, if he does he'll be arrested. Oh and apply for a residents order so that your daughter stays living with you. If his on the birth certificate and decided to not return her after his 3 nights, according to the law he has the right to do so and the police will do nothing without the court orders. People do shitty things when their feelings are hurt I'm just telling coz I've been there.Please protect yourself and daughter from the games he'll try to play because of his so called broken heart.
