how do you cope with the lonliness?

Its only been about 3-4 weeks and the lonliness is really hurting me
me and ex just didnt work and for the sake of the girls were arnt together. I simply didnt want tthem around arguing and violence anymore
the truth is I still love my ex. Trust me I wish I didnt. In my heart I know we can never be but I still love him. I miss having that companion.
I suppose he has always been the only person in my life. I dont really have friends. For a young girl of 23 I simply lost all my friends when i left school. Our relationship was very controlling and immature on both parts. We gave up all our friend's out of jealousy. I have one friend who I see at playgroup but that is it. I have no one else
im missing the company.
I dont like sleeping alone.
I know its for the best. I just wish I start to feel better soon.

I've never really felt lonely. But way a single mum for very different reasons.
I like being alone. Kids in bed and just sit there by myself, in silence. It's my idea of a perfect life lol

You're newly single, so you're bound to feel down, just mentally exhausted at very least. You'll be ok, it does get easier

It's normal to feel that way at first
I'm not the kind of person to get really lonely, I like my space but it is weird going from having someone there all the time to then it just being you.
Try and plan things so you have things to look forward to, try keep yourself as busy as possible, even if it's just going for a walk or finding a good book to read.
Netflix is what stops me getting lonely in the evenings

It has taken me a long while to feel comfortable on my own and some nights I still wish there was someone to share my day with and a glass of wine etc, but I got a dog lol, he keeps me company when Scarlett is in bed and I also chat to friends online. Enjoy the time to yourself because it won't be forever. xx
