I'm a single mom to a 15-month old and am 10 weeks pregnant with my second. I doubt I will magically have a partner by the time this baby is born, and I have no clue how I am going to take care of two babies on my own. How do you manage your time? How do you arrange their car seats in the car and who do you get out of the seat first? I don't know how i'm going to keep up with an energetic toddler while tending to my newborn...

I am just freaking out over here. Someone give me some reassurance?!

My boys r 3 & 1 but I've only recently split with my ex. I've had a few occasions where I've come home and both boys r asleep in the car so I get the 1 year old first, lock the car, put him in his cot then go back for my 3 year old. If they r awake I get the 3 year old out first coz obviously he walks. U just find ways to manage. It's not gonna b easy but ull b fine :-) how old will ur lo be when baby comes? There 22 months between my 2 and I think it's a lovely age gap xx

I have a 2 and honestly I don't find it any harder then one . You get into a new routine after a bit andir becomes easy .

I have younger car seat in the middle and older sons beside him on the opposite side of the driver seat as I found it easier to reach back and hand him things if needed when we are stopped an I can see him better in the mirror ( this is when we have a car as most time I take the bus) and older child get strapped in first so he's not runnin about

The older child will learn to be more patient as you care for the younger one too which makes it not easier

Hopefully I will get in the groove when baby comes along. My daughter will be
22 months when I'm due also!

I have two and at first it is scary, u can't plan ur time. One child is crazy enough, with two you never know what's going to happen!
But u get into the swing of things, I do now see how havin one is so much easier lol but wouldn't change a thing.
I love the fact my boys have each other.
My boys are 5 and 2, been a single mum since my eldest was 2 and I was 3 weeks pregnant, so didn't no I was a mum of two for a week lol
