I have been getting the girls up and feeding them before winding, putting back in cot. However last night I just fed them in their cot and didnt bother winding, figured I'd do it if they needed it. How do you do it?
My girls are 10 weeks and still feed every 3/4 hours round the clock. Last night it was, dream feed at half 11, then fed again at half 3, then again at half 7. I would love for them to drop the half 3 feed but it doesnt look like its happening any time soon :haha:

I hold lo for her dream feed, but she's swaddled for the night already and I keep her in the swaddle just like I do her middle of the night feeding. I get the bottle warm ahead of time, very gently pick her up, let her eat, keep her propped up a bit on my lap for about 10 minutes (otherwise she'll spit up) and then off to bed. I don't burp her with the DF or the night feed because it will wake her up. She eats really slowly though for both of them because she's so sleepy so not really any need to burp. It's fine to do it the way you did too

My lo is on basically the same schedule as your girls - DF at 11:30, she's up for a feeding around 3:00 then up for the day around 7. Our 3 AM feed isn't going anywhere any time soon either :p

My daughter is four months old and still feeds in the night. I don't do a dream feed b/c it did nothing for my son. I wouldn't leave them laying b/c that can increase risks forear infections...they say anyway.

Good point! I didn't even think about that because we have lo's basinette elevated some at the head because of a little reflux, so I'm just used to that LOL. Yeah, shouldn't feed them if they're laying flat and not propped up on a bit of an incline.
