it should just wash out if you can get hold of a carpet cleaner, i'd do it sooner rather than later though because the longer it's there the harder it will be

i can give you a list of things that don't work i spilt paint on my bedroom carpet but thankfully managed to cover it with the bed
fairy liquid and hot water doesn't work neither does vanish carpet foam but it was dry when i tried these so you might be lucky if its still wet

Depending on how bad it is, if it's dry a light rub with fine sandpaper may shift it.

Failing that if it's a small area, cut the patch out with a knife and use it as a template to cut another piece to swap from somewhere hidden.

Other than that, you'll probably need to go to the carpet shop.
