When you put it on the lower inner rim of your eye? My eyes seem alway watery and if I've ever tried to do this, it either comes right off after 10 mins or it smudges so I end up looking like I've had a fight with mike Tyson- any ideas???

I used to experience this and started using Rimmel eyeliner and never had a problem since.

Different eyeliners work better with different people.

One thing I can't do is eyeliner on the bottom of my eye. I use a liquid eyeliner and just have it on the top. i'd love to know how to do the bottom. xxx

I use rimmel and it's never smudged for me

use better liner!

i realllllllllllllly rate urban decay 24/7 liners. theyre a creamy consistancy and amazing.

I use gel eyeliners. They are a git to come off

I use natural collection eye liner... i like it as its a crayon type and works wonders on the top and bottom eye lid

I'm another rimmel wearer, £2.99 ish and a hundred times better than any of the expensive ones I've tried, even though my eyes water when it first goes on it has never smudged either.

I use Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner and a little trick hun is to put some powder under/around your eyes to stop the smudging. x

I use gel as well, but find that the avon khol one doesn't smudge either

Use a good liner and one without oil in, the oilier ones aren't to be used on the inner rims which is why they smudge so make sure you're using the right one. I like mac technakohl and max factor xx

Here's a tip for you without buying expensive liners. Put a thin line of black eyeshadow under the liner. Stops it slipping as it keeps moisture from the liner therefore it doesn't smudge. And it works. I swear by it. Works with even the cheap pencil liners xx

This is what I use, mac tech kohl, admittedly I haven't tried it on the lower rim as it always smudges but I'll give it a go. I thought perhaps there was a little trick to it or I've bought the wrong eyeliner. I aways see people and celebs with their lower rim filled in minus the smudges or it washing away and I just wondered how ts done xx

Do you mean run the liner on some black eyeshadow before applying? I'll give it's go. Thank you xx

No if you just put a thin line of black eye shadow on your lid where you'll apply the liner and then apply the liner. It works a treat xx

Does it work on the inner rim though? As mine get quite watery? Xx

No don't put eyeshadow on your inner rim, you'll get powder all in your eyeball, horrid feeling! You can put a small amount of powder on the outer rim of the bottom of your eye, any colour you want really. Even a nude one would work. It's just keeps the area dry and helps the black liner in the inside rim to stay put and not leak under the eye xx just depends on your eyes, some people's eyes water more than others hence why their liner on the inner rim never stays put. But that powder trick should def help. And others have said to use gel liner. Gel liner is great but never on the inner rim, its water and smudge proof and not designed to be put into the eye as your eye is naturally wet. You should only use gel on the outside of the eye xx
