I am new to pumping and there are several methods of heating refrigerated breast milk on the internet, so I wanted to ask what method you use.

Thank you much!

I put the milk in breastmilk bags, then put the bag in hot water and swirl it around a bit. We then have to regularly put the bottle into hot water again as my little boy is very fussy about the temperature of his milk!

I run the bottle under the hot tap to warm it. Only warm as much as you think baby will drink as when it has been heated it will need using up pretty quick.

We put it (bottle or bag) in hot water for 5 minutes. If it's in a bag, transfer to a bottle once it's warm. Whenever possible I try to warm it before I pour it anywhere because otherwise some of the fat gets left behind.

I either give it cold, or use the bottle warmer.

Bottle warmer usually, though I occasionally do hot water if it's still in a bag
