How do you know the difference between ewcm and semen?

We dtd last night and have just been to the toilet and had what looks like ewcm but could it also be semen? How can you tell the difference? Xx

I thought the same thing! I dont think semen will stretch between your fingers as much as ewcm though. But dont quote me on that!! x

I was kinda wondering the same thing.. but I think the EWCM will be more of a jelly like substance. Are you checking your CM correctly? My TTC buddy told me that you are suppose to use your index AND pointer finger, then find your cervice and kinda pinch between the two.. this way you get more CM out. If this comes directly from your cervix, I think it should be CM and not sperm. But I am not sure, sorry I cant be of more help.. I just know that my CM is a jelly like substance almost.

EWCM is a lot more stretchy than semen... and semen has a smell to it hehe.

Yea, EWCM is very stretchy but semen isnt. Ive had that too and been trying to work out which is which! Also been using conceive plus so that makes it more confusing!!!

EWCM is stretchy and colorless, semen is kind of creamy and white.

this is an older post but if u get semen after dtd does it mean that its bit goin up there to fertilize that egg or is there still a chance u can get pregnant
