Hannah doesn't give any clear signals and will keep on taking whether she is full or not. I only know she is full when she starts puking it up again!! Which is rare. She lives for snack feeding AAAAALLLLL day!

So how do you know when your baby is full?

I must of been lucky, Em would just come off, do a big sigh and sleep lol! Pretty much the same as Daddy after sunday lunch

Yea Tabitha just sleeps, or i stop feeding her when i get bored  But when she was younger she would feed for about 3hrs at a time, have now realised that she was doing it for comfort rather than being hungry :) When you start with babyrice will get easier..that was my findings anyway.

My baby is the same (although fed on EBM) - he will keep eating aslong as I let him, until he throws up. If I stop him too early, he does a very loud cry of protestation, so if I stop feeding him and he is quiet, I assume he has had about the right amount.

Sometimes he'll cry until I let him eat till he is sick. Silly baby.

You could try a dummy if you arent against the idea and offer that when you are not sure if she is wanting more food or not, she will soon let you know if she does :) then you will know when shes full

I have tried a dummy and she just spat it back it out every time I tried so I have given up on that idea lol but thanks for the idea xxx

Oh Logie, Joshua is the same!
I am constantly feeding and so exhausted its not funny :(
He spat out the dummy I tried too,so no good.

He snacks constant,if he does manage to last 2-3 hours without feeding I sit there in shock.

He is crying again now and I only put him down 25 mins ago.

I think I'm lucky too. Since day one (well no, since we cracked his latch at about 2 weeks) he has fed then fallen asleep and taken himself off, had a stretch then gone back to sleep. Sometimes he stays on for much longer, dozing and comfort sucking. But I have learned not to take him off when he does this as he'll usually wake up after 10 minutes, have another good guzzle for a minute then come off. If I interrupt his comfort sucking he'll wake up 10 minutes later and cry for more.

i'm having the same problem!! so 2moro morning leila is having baby rice. just a spoon full, but i dont know what else to do, i spent 45 mins feeding her till she fell asleep, put her in her pushchair and walked to the shop which is 5 mins away, on the way back i had to take her out and feed her as she was screaming like i was killing her!! i dont care if shes too young, me and my DH was weaned at 6 weeks, done us no harm! x

Fred would fall asleep at your babies age or just pull off and grin at me looking half cut!! now he tells me he has finished by biting the little monster!

Caine either looks drunk, comes off himself and falls asleep or pukes!! :D
