How do you know which teat size to use?

LO was on size 2 Dr Brown, but took ages to drink milk. Changed to Y cut Dr Brown as we were thickening it, but sometimes she choked, gagged and spluttered, plus there was constant wind issues. Tried Level 3 Dr Brown without thickener, which she drinks ok and fairly quickly, but we still have constant wind problems! Don't know which one to use??????
Use infacol before feed and gripe water after when necessary. She gets burps up during feed but there's always loads later waking her up...

Which teat causes most wind and why?... Please help!

Did she have wind problems already before U switched?

I'm not sure, I use dr browns but my lo still on size 2. If ur lo is taking the size3 well then id stick to it., unless its making the wind issue worse then I don't know x

She's always had some kind of wind problem but it improved when she was put in lactose free milk. Since then, weve ended up having to wind every ounce on size 2 dr brown but it took 30-45 mins to feed her and she'd only take 6oz max. If I up the teat to size 4 (tried that today) she drained 8oz and got good burps up during feed but then there was tonnes of burps coming up hours later! Went back to size 3 for last feed and there was trapped wind again and she wouldn't drink it all

Aww im not sure then :\ is 8oz a lot? Maybe she's taking too much? Not sure how much they take at that old my lo takes about 40 mins to feed, she normally takes about 5oz but she's so difficult to burp, so most of that time is trying for wind! Xx
