how do you measure the rise

as above really - but I have seen different methods

I measure from the belly button, down between the legs and then back up just above the butt crack. Really it's from where you want the nappy to come up to front and back so if you like the nappy to ride a little lower in the front, then you can start a little lower. Hope that makes sense- always hard trying to put this kinda stuff into words

I presume you measure when they are naked - gosh i am thick

no you wanna measure with a nappy on, or just measure the nappy and add a bit if babas especially wriggly.
