They spend 9 months inside their mommy so thats a sure bond seems like daddies get the short end of the stick lol!!

Yeah. I mean when they're inside the womb they can hear and if you're around the mother a lot then the baby can hear you. I mean when my son was born he automatically knew me but he knew his dad too. Probably because he remembers his voice or whatever. But yeah, don't think you've got the short end of the stick. Your baby will know who you are![]()
Yeah they recognise the voice. My OH used to sing one particular tune to my bump, and when she was born and OH held her while I was delivering the placenta, she was crying, and he started singing the tune, and she quitened instantly and just listened and watched him. It was incredibleSo yeah I definately think fathers have a bond with their little ones like that, just as long as the daddies are around etc

Yeah i guess, i was just sitting here wondering how dads form that bond with a new child through others ways too, not every daddy gets that priviledge and also i noticed that when children are distressed they want mommy and not popz and that must fel crappy!!
