Maria came home from daycare yesterday with a fever of 39, went up to over 40 in the evening and in the night she said her skin was itching all over and her arms and legs looked quite red. This morning I saw one spot on her led and another on her arm, she was still itchy and still has a fever but she also has a some throat, cough and sniffles (and looks like possibly white spots on her tonsils but couldn't get a good look)

So what is this? Tonsilitius with just coincidental itchiness or chicken pox starting or what?

Emily had them at 18 months. She was very moany, tired and tearful for a few days before spots came. She had two on her chest and a few on her back and then suddenly they were appearing before my eyes! They can form in the throat so could well be starting there  hugs, hope she's better soon

Ended up taking her to the doctor as she got a weird rash on her arm and anyway turns out its just viral tonsillitis and a viral rash. Phew!

My boys just had spots, DS1 got some cold symptoms but DS2 was absolutely fine, just a lot of spots most of which didn't even bother him, I was surprised as he's usually the one to be more ill with things!

Grumpy, flu symptoms and raised temperature then she came up with spots a couple days later. No itching for first few days until the spots really came out.
