How does/did your newborn breathe?

I'm a FTM, but it seems my lo breathes weird. It's fast or slow, sometimes heavy, sometimes raspy, it seems like its hard for her to do. Besides that, she eats, pees, poops etc normally. Is this something I should be worried about?

My daughter was the same. Sometimes she'd kind of pant really fast and loudly then it would calm down. Quite scary at times.

The HV was over one day when she did it and we asked her. She said she didn't think we should worry about it. Everything was fine at all of her checks. She doesn't do it now so obviously at some point it just stopped happening.

It's completely normal, both of mine did this the pediatrician said it's just their lungs adjusting. If your really concerned no harm in contacting your Dr.
