Hi ladies,

When I’m walking I am getting horrific pains and aches at the top of my legs like inside, on my pelvic area.
Feels like a stretching pain and it KILLS,
I’m so worried about SPD because I know so many people who develop it and I’m worried incase I do too
X

It always felt the same to me, just got progressively stronger. It feels like what I imagine being kicked in the pelvis with a steel toe cap boot feels like. It hurts the most when moving your legs/knees apart, I knew I was getting it again with my second because I started getting the pain when turning over in bed and getting in/out of the car.

Hi hon I have SPD and it started at first with pain in the pubic bone at the front of ure pelvis. Over time it got worse literally feels like someone has kicked u over and over in the privet parts. Also now get pain in my hips and back of pelvis its agony.

I am pretty sure I have SPD with this current pregnancy. I have always had bad sciatica during my pregnancies and that's initially how the pain started this time, but it has become worse overtime, so much worse that the sciatic pain hardly bothers me because the rest of the pains are that much worse. I have a terrible time rolling over in bed, I try to keep my legs close together and pull on the side of my bed to get me over to the other side. Pain is really bad in my pelvis, hips, and inside of legs near my groin area. Any tips on how to relieve the pain? I was using a heating pad, but have found better relief from cold compresses or ice packs. Also have terrible back pain, which I know is a given at this point in the pregnancy. Plus it doesn't help that I have enormous girls (what I like to call my breasts lol) and the constant growing is making them heavier which in turn makes my back hurt even more. Very curious to how to cope with this as well as if it affects you at all during L&D!

Hope everyone find some relief!

Awwwww hon it does sound like it. Bring it up to ure OB and they may get u seen by a physiotherapist. I've been taking codiene for my pain but I only take it every other day. Ure doing all the right stuff hon.
Just pretend I have a very tight skirt on when rolling over in bed and getting out the car etc.
Someone mentioned about putting a plastic bag. Like a shopping bag on the car seat so it's easier to swivel around.
Also recommend a pregnancy pillow hon.
I feel ure pain hon I'm the exact same and its sucks

I honestly think my OB will just tell me to take it easy and take tylenol if needed. I don't see him referring me to a specialist at this point :(

With the shopping bag thing, I am curious how you do this. Are you supposed to put them underneath you or wear it? lol

Hope you are doing ok gal! You're getting close!
