Hi! So my daughter had really bad flaking cradle cap for 7 months, it was very noticeable especially because she has dark hair.
I tried olive oil and it made her so greasy and after a week it still looked the same. I tried cradle cap shampoo and it didn't help... I even tried vasaline, it took 3 days and 6 shampoos to get out lol.
I brushed it& I combed it but it didn't work .... And then I had an idea ! (Is the suspense killing you now?) I went to a drugstore and bought a fine tooth lice comb ! After combing her hair gently with the lice comb for 2 days ITS GONE! It's been a glorious month of pony & piggy tails with no flakes! I don't know if you'll think this is a good idea but It worked for me so I thought I would pass it on !

Good job! My LO started getting it too at about 2 months of age and I was so worried as I have seen babies with it very bad. What I ended up doing was buying an organic baby shampoo (not your typical J&J brand which supposedly makes CC worse) and added a drop or two of tea tree oil to the amount I washed her hair with. I did this two nights in a row, ad prior to her bath I would gently brush the flakes with her soft baby brush to loosen them. The CC also left in that time (two nights of treatment) and she hasnt had any since

Edit: Forgot to mention I have continued to use said organic baby shampoo (minus tea tree oil) so that may help too
