How is this possible? Clear BFP progression on ICs. BFN on a FRER!

I am sooo confused.

Since 10 DPO I've been getting good lines on OneStep IC thin and wide strips, and now even the 25 hcg cassette. The lines have been getting darker every day.

I've been patiently waiting to test on a FRER to get a good line on the first try.

So I finally tested on a FRER and it's an ice white BFN!! Has this happened to anyone else?

13 DPO, all tests on the same sample, at the same time:

These were yesterday at 12 DPO, pic taken within minutes as they processed. 5 different ones on the same sample.

I haven’t used a FRER in years but from what I read on here, they just aren’t as good as they used to be! Your other tests look like a BFP to me? Test again on those with different urine, as it’s better to see progression on the same tests. Good luck!

With that kind of line I'd almost go ahead and try digital just for peace of mind. I think you'd get a positive on the digital either now or in the near future.

I didn’t get a line in frer till 13dpo so still time yet!! I’d say try digi cause those lines look awesome xxx

FRER have become notorious for how bad they are just lately.

I’d defo get a digital because those lines look amazing!

Those IC's are definitely BFP! FRER have gone downhill so much!

Could be a few things. I would continue to test and watch the ICs for progression. If there's very little/no progression, my thoughts are a CP. This is unfortunately how my "progression" went. It was slow, then stopped progressing, and then finally went back to neg.

But since 13dpo is still quite early, I would definitely keep testing. Its been quite awhile since I've tested with FRERs, but I heard they're not that great anymore. So keep testing. Maybe talk to your dr and see if you can get in for a beta (that's the 100% way to know).

I haven't personally had this experience. But I watched a YouTube video of a live pregnancy test she used a frer, cheapie and a walmart. And a clearblue plus sign test. All positive except for the frer! She even tried a digital with the same pee because she was so confused as to why all thw rest positive and not the frer. The digi came back POSITIVE! So guess what I'm saying is, if your consistently showing bfps on other tests, i personally wouldn't worry about frers. Haven't heard great things about them recently.....maybe ask for a blood test to put your mind at rest? Good luvk

With this pregnancy I had bfps on Ics 7dpo but frer was onky positive 11dpo so 4 days later !!

I'll keep testing with IC for progression and I'll test the same sample with the remaining 3 FRERs I have. Should be interesting.

AF is already late. If it doesn't arrive by Monday and the lines keep getting stronger, I'll get a blood test on Monday.

IC and the 25 hcg cassette have slightly darker lines.

...and there's a faint line on the FRER!

It's hard to capture on camera, but there's a faint line in person.

The FRER does worry me. I wonder if something's off and it might be another chemical. So I'm on a "wait and see" mode.

But I read the reviews on Amazon and there are a lot of cases where the FRER was negative and other tests and the blood test is positive.

I'd think it was an indent if it wasn't for the cassette that has a 25 hcg sensitivity and has done a better job at showing progression.

If you got the FRER from Amazon, I had read some reviews a couple months back where people were saying the tests they received were duds.

I'd definitely say you are pregnant from the look of the ICs and cassette! Good luck!

There's dark progression and with a chemical pregnancy I don't believe there's any progression
