How long after section do you bleed?

My midwives pretty much told me nothing about my body, it hasnt been a week yet so i know its not soon just wondering how much longer i will continue to bleed

2 weeks and still bleeding for me. it stops and starts. Just when i think its stopped, i stop wearing a pad and lo and behold a few hours later i feel a trickle and iys started again. Its not red any more more like pinky yellowy brown if that makes sense

Mine was 3-4 weeks but last 2 weeks were very light pinky discharge. X

It varies, with my first it was about a month I think! With my second it was 2.5 weeks

Gosh lucky ladies! Mine was about 8 weeks or so, although the last 6 weeks was a light pinkish discharge, i thought it would never stop

Mine was on and off for 6-8 weeks too. Thought it had stopped at 6 weeks but came back lightly and just dwindled, bit like a light period. Then, exactly 4 weeks later, AF returned :/

Right around 6 weeks for me. I called my doctor after about 4 weeks and she said that it was normal because it is your uterus that bleeds.

Had baby Oct 5th 10 and stopped December 23rd 10 but little one was poorly and in scbu for 3 week stress xx

I stopped bleeding after 11days but I had a lot of blood loss in my surgery and they cleared a lot away in the procedure...x

6 weeks for me. I lost a lot if blood during my EMCS and had to have a transfusion post section too.

Mine was 13 weeks with my daughter, then off for a week and then 2 weeks of AF!! xx

My first section was probably about 4-5wks of bleeding. My 2nd I bled 8wks and it didn't stop until I started birth control - might have been a timing coincidence or maybe the birth control is what finally stopped it. It sucked. Totally undid the benefit of not bleeding for 9 months during pregnancy.
