How long after section do you bleed?

5 weeks for me, then 2 weeks later AF was back. Grrr.

I was lucky - only 2 days!! I had some very light pink discharge for maybe a week.

I bleed for about 12 - 13 weeks after my section, i thought i was never going to stop. I finally stopped bleeding only to have my period a week later!

I have a quick question ladies don't wanna impose, just wondering
After a c-section for 24 hours you have to have the cafiter in and I was wondering what you do about the bleeding?
Or does it not start straight away xx
