How long after losing your plug did labour start?

With DS I think it was about a week before I had him (I was induced). With this LO I lost a big chunk of plug at about 30 weeks but thankfully haven't gone into labour yet (I'm 36 weeks)

I lost a big chunk last night, and the midwife gave me a sweep this morning. Fingers crossed Baby decided to make an appearance soonx

36 hours after loosing mine labour was started by them breaking my waters and i was 4 cm dialated at that time

This time, ive been losing little bits over the last 2 weeks or so.

I lost my plug May 27th (at 36 weeks), and LO didn't arrive until June 14 (at 38 weeks).

I had already been in labour for a day when my plug fell out in one go, Oliver was born a day after that.

I know people who've lost bits of their plug continuously throughout a fortnight or so before the birth so it all depends! xx

I lost my plug just as labour was starting, it was bloody. If its bloody then there's a good chance labour is about to start.
But if its just mucous, you can lose that all through pregnancy and its fine as it regenerates.
