(So how long from when you bought it is the use by date?)

We plan to FF our baby and would like to buy in advance if possible, date depending obviously. We're planning on trying aptamil for newborns!

Thanks guys x

Powder formula usually has at least a year on it. BUT I would say formula is probably not a good thing to stock up on in advance as your baby may not get on with the brand or type of formula you buy. Its best just to buy one tub to start with to make sure your baby is settled ont he one you choose. xx :)

Oh thats true, I hadnt thought of that.

pre made is 6 months, powder 1 year  I'v stocked up as ds1 had cow and gate and i dont think ds2 will have any problems with it. I'v got 3 tubs of powder, 2 big bottles of pre-made and some smaller cartons of pre-made which i will be using for the first few days/nights. Will probably stick to using pre-made stuff through the night too just to make it easier to make fresh bottles.

xx

 Yeah, don't stock up on formula, just get one of the kind you plan on trying first, it can't be returned to the store.
