How long did it take before your hcg was zero?

My gyn isn't doing bloodwork since Fiancé and I had planned on taking a loooong break (see below ticker). It was mostly determined by me (I'm scared of another loss) and external factors (timing and unforeseen issues), but I almost want to start TTC again soon. I'm just wondering how long it took you to get back to zero/ ovulating again? I took a FRER and it was still so dark. I was carrying twins (lost one naturally, the other medically) so my hcg was pretty high, and I was 8w1d. I know it's only been 8 days. But I never thought seeing pregnant on digitals and such strong lines could hurt so much.

My answer probably won't help. I had a bit of an exception since my body wanted to hang on to the pregnancy tissue even after I started hemorrhaging. I got pregnant in february was diagnosed with a blighted ovum in march and started miscarrying in april ( I would have been 12 weeks). This process lasted until June when my doctor HAD to do a D&C to remove the rest of the fetal tissue. My Hcg levels the friday before was 18. Finally reached zero about a week and a half after the D&C. So a total of 4 months before my levels hit zero XD

Most women usually only take a cycle though or a couple of weeks.

I'm sorry to hear that. My doctor was quite to D&C since my last loss was similar to you. Took months and even my gyn gently pulling out fetal tissue near my cervix every visit before everything was out. I might just ask for bloods Monday.

Hi again Dobby I know we chatted before but here is how it went for me: Miscarried naturally at 7 weeks exactly. The next day my levels were checked and were around 2000 (can't remember exact number). A week later they were 90. A week later they were 13. That was yesterday.

As far as ovulation, I know when I ovulate because I have horrible Mittelschmerz (It's so intense and precise I can tell you each month which ovary I ovulate from). Also, I started doing OPK's a week after I miscarried as well as temping. Based on all of these things, I am 99.9% positive I ovulated exactly 14 days after the first day of bleeding from the MC. I asked the doctor if you can ovulate even if you have HCG in you and she said yes if the levels are low like yours(she didn't specify what low was but at the time I was 90 so I guess she considered that low).

My doctor tried the same thing and she was convinced she had gotten it all then two months of bleeding later it was D&C time. But it really didn't take long afterward

I started bleeding on Friday, on Thursday a test indicated I was pregnant, today's test was a bfn so I don't know numbers, but I guess my levels dropped drastically in two days.

When I lost my second bean, my pregnancy test turned negative just 10 days after the D and C. I don't think I ovulated that cycle but I think I did the one after

I also lost twins at 9weeks. One was lost earlier and that caused the loss of the other (they were in the same sac). I had a suction evacuation and got a bfn two weeks later. It was very surreal to be HAPPY about a NEGATIVE test and SAD about a POSITIVE test!!

it took my 7 long weeks before AF showed up and I was very frustrated with my body that entire time

At 4.5 weeks post natural miscarriage my HCG was still 10. At 5 weeks I got AF. Best wishes to you.

I took a test two days ago, generic Walgreens + and it was barely positive. But I took a generic digital from Safeway today that isn't supposed to be an early test and it came back positive. Anyway I am out of tests do I guess I will see what happens period wise next week.
