Hey all,

My LO is 12 weeks and quite long! She's still in her moses basket but she won't last there til 6 months and our room isn't big enough to bring the cot in so i'm considering getting a crib til then... She's on the 25th percentile at the mo.

So, quick survey to see if it's worth it....

1. What percentile is your LO?

2. How long did they stay in (a) moses basket (b) crib before they moved into the big cot.

Thanks ladies!!

91stcentile for height at 9weeks was out of his moses at the same time hes now in a travel cot in our room still

75 percentile and we moved her into her cot at 14 weeks old x

Not sure about the percentile... she was 25% at 2 mos, but dont' go back till 4 mos and she's currently a little over 3mos old.

We just transitioned her from her rock & play sleeper to her crib...and she did GREAT! I think we were more worried about it than we needed to be. I know every baby can be different... so just do what makes sense for you and your LO.

Best of luck!

Just over the 9th centile atm

we have her in a crib in our room and reckon she has quite a lot of growing room left yet :) she weighed last week 10lb 14oz at 12 weeks. I think she'll still be in it with us for the next 12 weeks :)

12 wks and 25th percentile. She is in a crib in our room and will hopefully be until 6 months.

98th centile our of Moses basket by 8 Weeks and in his own cot & room. Hv knew this and wasn't concerned.

91st centile.

He is right up to the top of his moses now which he uses for naps in the day, he has a crib at night which i would say he has about 6/8 weeks max (maybe less) left in it. He is 15 weeks old.

25th and we moved her out of the Moses basket at 7 weeks. I think our basket was a bit smaller than average though.

Thomas is 23 weeks and still fits in his. We barely use it anymore though, there's no need to.

Thomas is 25th centile for height and length but I suspect he has shot up in centiles for length.

Well what I planned and what happened weren't the same at all!

With my son we planned to have him in his basket for 3 months, then a cot in our room for another 3 months, then into his room. What happened is:

Co-sleeping for the first month, then a month of fighting to get him to sleep in the bassinette. At 2.5 months he went into his cot (which he loved!) and was out of it just this past christmas when he asked for a big boy bed. He was just over 2 years old.

My daughter is still in her bassinette and sleeping well so we will move her when she outgrows it. We also co-slept for the first 6 weeks. She is comforted sleeping close to us so we will keep the cot in our room until 6 months at least. This was also the plan with our son but he sleeps much better alone in a very quiet room. (wish we realized that sooner!) We will switch LO#2 to a bed when she asks or is climbing out of the cot.

Both my kiddos are around the 75th percentile for height.
