How long did you bleed after section?

When should one got to da docs about the bleeding cuz its now 6 weeks n it doesn't look like its going to stop

Mine has turned into scanty yellow / brown discharge now (sorry tmi!) some days nothing and sometimes like this morning when I woke I am seeing it when I wipe. It will be 5 weeks post c section for me on Tuesday.

Mine went on for nearly 9-10 weeks!! They said I may have possibly gotten my period directly after the bleeding, though, since it did stop for a day or two. That happens sometimes, especially if you're not breastfeeding.

Update on mine (again) It has been 26 days now and EVERYTHING stopped four days ago and has not returned. YAY!

My bleeding stopped 2-3 days ago. It had been days of just a teeny brown spot on the pad each day.
Feels so good not to wear a pad lol.

Going to dtd on sat night woot!
Got a babysitter and having a fancy dinner out

almost 11 weeks here. My doctor insisted it was normal, even did an ultrasound to make sure there were no "retained products". He said the more babies you have (this was number 6), the more pregnancies you have (number 7, I have an angel), the older you are (I am 32), and the number of previous csections you have (this was my 2nd) factor into how long it takes your body to heal.

i bled for 8weeks non stop sometimes extremely heavy and clots upuntil 2day before it stopped. Baby now 9wks tomorrow. Being anaemic and havng a newborn and bleeding for so long is absolutely knackering, Thank god its stopped.

I bled for 9 weeks. It never really went brown. It wasn't constant after the first month - mainly spotting but enough that i had to wear a pad all day every day for the 9 weeks.
