I didn't want to have to go back to work wearing my maternity clothes- but personally, I'd rather do that then buy new clothes. I am going to fit in my pre-prego clothes again... SOON! lol. I just cut myself some slack at first- and concentrated on healing and my baby. Once I felt up to it (and got the all clear from my OB)- I started walking, then going back to the gym... THEN, I started watching what I ate much more and slowly working my gym routine up more and more... I'm pretty much back to where I was excercise wise pre-baby (not quit, but close). I still have 10lbs to lose... but really, the first 8lbs weren't that bad to lose... easier than I thought it would be once I got going and motivated
You'll get there hun... just imagine it and stay focused. I even had a time here and there I was weak and broke and ate horrible... LOL... but still lost weight overall. These last 10lbs are going to be a pain though I'm sure... aren't they always?!
Best of luck- and don't worry if you have to wear your maternity pants for a bit... they are certainly more comfy! I didn't like squeezing into my size 10 and feeling my belly fat hang over... LOL... but each week they fit better and better! We can do this!
