How long does an EMPTY bottle stay sterile for?

So i am bfing but trying to introduce a bottle of expressed ocassionally and thought u guys would be best to ask!

After sterilising, how long does the bottle stay sterile for?
I kno if u leave them in the steriliser it says 24 hrs with the lid on, and 1hr if the lid has been removed...does this mean that they are only sterile for an hour if u take them out the steriliser?

If you assemble them then they are still sterile for 24 hours.

24hrs as long as there's no holes in the lids. If there's holes you can generally keep the bottle sterile using the closing caps but the teats will need to be kept in a sterile container (inside the bottle/steriliser/breastmilk bag).
