How long does it take to get your first trimester AFP bloodwork back?

I had an ultra sound where the nuchal area was measured and blood was taken that day. Tech said the nuchal measurement was useless without blood results so now I'm waiting..again.... Stressful.

I found out I was pregnant Wednesday evening. I took another test Thursday morning to make sure.

Called my doctor.

They sent me for blood work Thursday.

They called me with results Friday.
