How long have you been TTC?

We've been trying since late March-ish.
It's getting so frustrating!!

I ordered some super sensitive tests from Babywishes, so I'm hoping they come in today. I'm only 8 DPO.

I'm crampy, (TMI) gassy, emotional, and feeling very tired today.

I hope they are good signs, bc every month I convince myself I AM pregnant just to have show up.

I was tossing and turning all morning, so I didn't temp this morning. And I forgot yesterday.

Sigh.

Been nearly 2 years for us. Nobody should have to wait longer than a year when they're on this journey!!! I really feel for those ladies who have been trying for 3, 4, 5 or more years!

It's not selfish. Can you find a different doctor?

It's not selfish... I guess the need is as strong when you already have children as it is when you don't (I can't really say because we're TTC #1 lol).

I wish to god that I could get this TTC over with... I'd be more than happy if I could only have 1 baby and that was it! I'm just so desperate to make DH and me a proper family. I shouldn't be having problems!!! I'm only 21!!! I thought this part of your life was meant to be the peak of your fertility?! I was lied to lmao XD

This is our 10th cycle, it's so hard isn't it. I'm thinking of taking a break for Christmas if nothing happens this cycle but I have said that before now and didn't manage it! I found this site a couple of months back and it's been a great help and support - wherever you are in your cycle! Hang in there, keeping f'xed for you and all the ladies trying so hard too x

I am on my first cycle. I am scared as to how long it may take, I already have a 5year old son concieved while on bc, so I have no idea how long this may take for us x

Kind of hard to say, this time around this is our first cycle. But, we've been trying for our first child for thirteen years, since September 1997. We've had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in October '98, an ectopic at 8 weeks in July '08, a miscarriage at 8 weeks in July '09 and a second trimester loss at 20+1 weeks in July this year.

Technically- we are only on our 5th cycle (but TTC since Oct 2009)... prior my hubby had a VR and we tried for 6 mos before we found out it didn't work... then we had to wait 3 mos for another VR and for him to heal to start again... we just found out it worked this time though and we are good to go!!!! So that was a huge weight lifted I just wish our lil bean would hurry up already! lol. I just have to focus on THIS time and chalk the rest up to lots of good practice lol. What else can we do ya know? I do realize that 5 mos isn't very long... my brother and his wife tried for 9 mos before they conceived. I have a friend who's been trying a lot longer than us also... and I truly hope it happens for them soon!!!!
