How long is process for ivf

Hi me and my partner have been trying for over 2 years with no success we have tried ovulation tests to time it right.

My partner went for a sperm analysis and they told him his count is 8.2 million so It's low.

He's going back for another one next week.

I was just wondering if they turn round and say his sperm analysis is low again.


How long is the actual process for ivf?

Do you mean how long does the process take in terms of the actual IVF cycle or how long it takes to be referred if IVF is what you need?

It really depends where in the country you are. Some areas have longer waiting lists than others. Where I live, once it was decided that we needed IVF, the referral was done straight away (the clinic we went to didn't have a waiting list). I got an appointment through about 6 weeks after being referred, went to a seminar, had a consultation about 4 weeks after that, and started treatment about 6 weeks after that x
