How long to get SA results back?

I'm trynig to get my DH to go and get his swimmers tested, just wandering how long it takes to get the results back.

Im trying to wait one more month, he says we arent doing it enough, I say 2 yes plus clomid had no effect so we need to more on .

Usually a day or two. How often are you BDing around when you are ovulating?

Also, what dosage clomid are you on. I didn't really respond to it until 150mg. I had 4-5 great sized follies this month. Worth the hotflashes and nausea I got. Now in the 2WW!!
Guys are ALWAYS scared its them, and even if it is, there are always things around that... IUI, IVF... etc. Good luck

I ovulated before starting clomid, so no need to go up on mgs.
We have tried every other day and once a day, nothing yet...

Thanks for the response, hopefully I can get him into see if its him, Im in the clear other than lap/dye but I cant see doing that before a SA

You're talking about checking tubes right? I did that before the SA. Its just that there are only a few things that can be wrong with a guy. Count, motility, morphology. Women have endless things, PCOS, Ovulation, Tubes blocked, scar tissue, low progesterone, bad luetal phase... its kinda unfair so usually they rule all the stuff out on the woman.

My doctor said to do the SA first, because cheaking my tubes is about 1200.00 outta pocket vs. 130.00 for SA.

Hopefully he will see the light and go this month..
