Just curious on average how long did it take for your cycle to return after stopping nursing?

My boy is 5 months old and still EBF, feeds during the night too. First period was at 6 weeks, second at 12 weeks after that they have been every 26 days. Everyone can be so different, guess it is just wait and see!

My daughter is almost a year old and nurses four times a day and I'm still waiting for my period. I'm curious to know when it might come back too.

Your daughter was born on my due date! I was due 5/13/15 but had him 5/8/15.

Stalking! With ds1 I combifed until he was 9 months (he refused to bf so I pumped). Almost exactly 2 weeks after quitting the last feed my cycles returned. Back to normal pretty much I think. This time I quit 3 weeks ago and nothing yet. Early days I know. We do want to try for a third lo but not quite yet. So that's not why I am wanting them back. But I feel like getting my cycles back last time helped me feel more like myself again if that makes sense? Tho not looking fw to pads and pms etc ☺️.

I haven't stopped nursing my 2 year old yet but I got my period back when she was 9 months old... So I guess it was when she started nursing every 3 hours as a pose to every 20 mins in the early days then hourly after that.

every one is different. I was EBF with night feeds since day 1 until we started solids and I'm still breast feeding my 19 month old. My AF returned at exactly 6 weeks PP and has been regular since.

Thanks ladies! Still no period for me 12 months pp.

Must have jinxed myself! One year, 2 days after my daughter's birth. I consider myself fortunate :) I have been breastfeeding four times a day for about 2-3 months with no night feeds, I'm surprised it didn't come sooner.

I just stopped night feeds last Wednesday and yesterday after having sex had bright red blood and now am spotting lightly so maybe all I needed was to cut out that night feed to get my prolactin down low enough to get things going again.
