Can you keep a bottle if its room temperature?

I know its an hour for warmed up bottles, is it the same for room temp ones?

Is this with powder? So you make it up then cool it to room temperature? I think no more than an hour, and the same if it's been in the fridge, then warmed up.

No, i pour the water into the bottles of a morning then leave it on the side to get to room temperature, then i add the powder to the room temp water.

I don't think there is an official guideline in that case, as it's not recommended to do that as the powder isn't sterile. So I would use it immediately. An hour probably isn't ideal.

Ive done the same as you- room temp...and i bin after 2 hrs. I think ive only kept a few bottles past an hr sine Jac was born though.
I was always under the impression that the germs breed quicker in the bottle when its warm so that's why it's an hour....i could be wrong though.

I have made up feeds and he's decided to sleep on me before i start feeding him...in this case i put the in the fridge and warm to room temp after.

xx

Just water? I read somewhere 24 hours and thats what ive always gone by. The bottles get used sooner than that though.

24 hours for the water, once i have added the powder its an hour xx

same hun 24 hours for the water and and hour after adding powder. i know they recommend using water of 70 degrees, but im sure i got the tip off of cow and gat / sma's website. they say it is ok to use previously boiled room temp water as because you are making it when you need it, rather than in advance the bacteria that would be in the milk powder wouldnt have time to multiply or something similar any way, i did look into this thoroughly before using this method to make sure it was safe for lo and everywhere i looked / asked the answer came back "its fine" as long as you arnt making them with room temp water and planning to keep them for 24 hours or something.
i used this method from birth and my lo did great on it :)
anyway... 1 hour yes :)

I make them up the same way as you and I keep them for 2 hours max once the milk is added. I have always done it this way and we have never had any problems.

yep we do exactly the same as you honey and keep the water for 24hours, but once powders added i use within the hour x
