Hi ladies, how long after confirming cysts on ovaries did it take for a doc to do something? Ie give clomid or something

I've been ntnp for 3 years. Properly ttc for a year, got pregnant in July, mmc oct. So went to docs as af took ages to come back, doc wanted to investigate af's I have really irregular ones since 15 am now 29.

Bloods suggest pcos, scan confirmed cysts. So Friday I back to the docsfor chat on next step, just wondering what usually happens next? Anyone? I'm really anxious about it all and need some pma will they help me?

I have the same problem and started TCM, see my journal below to see the progress.. i am going to my doc this week and am going to see if they will give me metformin, to try and regulate the periods.

Hi hun - my doc has prescribed me with Metformin and once I have been on them a few months I have to go back and she will refer me to a gynocologist - she said they would prescribe me with clomid if I haven't started to ovulate.
I am going to invest in some OPK's though to see if I am ovulating.
