How many baby grows & vests to pack?

I've packed 3 tiny baby ones as baby is measuring almost 2 weeks behind on a growth scan last week.
3 new born size and 2 up to 1 month, don't think i'll be needing the up to 1 month but thought I'd pack it just in case he comes out bigger then they think he is.

I'm going to take 3-4 of each, probably split between newborn and 0-3 months. I've not bought any more newborn items for this little one, as my first was 9lb1 so I don't want to waste money on stuff that may not fit to long. I'll just take some of my son's newborn clothes in case this one is actually smaller.
I agree with using short sleeved vests too - hospital is sooo warm, and you can cover up with a cardigan or blanket for coming home.

Iv packed 3 newborn vests & 3 newborn sleepsuites & 3 hats to go with them. one for when he/she is just born, one to come home in and one spare. If i need anymore I can always have someone bring them in for me. x

I packed 3 of each and it was nowhere near enough. I needed an emergency ceserean so I was in for 3 days. Baby also had mucus so was being sick over everything! I ended up getting my mother to do washing and dp shopping lol x

I was in for three days/two nights with my son after an emcs.

I took 4 and got through these quite quickly so DH had to bring more in.

I will take 4 again, and of need be someone can pop somemore up to me. I will take three first size and one 0-3 of each.

Thanks ladies I will take a few and mix up the sizes... If I have to stay in any longer for any reason oh can always bring more in I will pack the bag tomorrow how exciting

I know I'm going to end up bringing too many! But I'm definitely planning on bringing a variety of sizes. I'm worried about having only things that are either too big or too small so I'm pretty much bringing everything! Sure they're only small & aren't going to take up much room in the bag so what harm!

I think I only took a pack of 4 with me last time and after a EMCS it definitely wasnt enough. I think I iwll take two packs of 0-3 - just got to go and buy them first LOL. and hats - some hospitals are really funny about hats!!! xx

Thanks ladies, yes I have hats ill just take a few vests and babygrows and if I need more we are not far from the hospital so oh can bring some more in

To be honest, unless the sleepsuits are huge on baby, being a little big is not really a problem. I'm packing what I think I need and I'll also pack a small bag of extras that OH can go home and pick up if needed.

I packed 3 of each 0-3 months with my son, then his going home outfit.

Then he was sick a lot and I sent my partner out for emergency supplies!!
I'm taking 6 of each this time, I'm staying in for a minimum of 24 hours though x
