How many DPO do you wait to test?

Just wondering, new to this and 8 dpo....probably too early to test but it's driving me nuts...

my LP is 14-16 days.....so I usually wait till 14DPO.

There are many others who cant wait that long

not sure what I was with my DD I was 3 days late with AF and tested and it was just tested today I am 11DPO and it was due for AF on july 4th

I start at 8 usually LOL but I prepare myself for BFNs and dont get too upset when I see them.

Lol, this cycle I started at 6dpo but I wasn't expecting to see anything. Before 18dpo (usual luteal phase is 16dpo so AF usually shows up at 17dpo), I will only use IC's but after 18dpo, it is on with the more expansive stuff.
